I'm sort of partial to Gmail myself. From what I've experienced, it takes care of spam better than Yahoo or Hotmail does, though Hotmail's gotten a lot better at it recently.

I have both a Yahoo and a Gmail account.
I like the Yahoo for sending mail. But I like the way I receive it in my Gmail account.

When it comes to spam, Yahoo and Gmail filter out both pretty well.

Gmail rocks once you get used to it. Yahoo's "Outlook-like" upgrade recently is good, but Gmail is still better overall in ease of use, features, speed, and spam filter.
