Playing the saxophone makes the ladies get naked. Well, sometimes it does. Some women prefer the electric guitar.
I've got a fever... and the only prescription is more cowbell.
I'll be honest, fellas, it was sounding great. But... I could've used a little more cowbell. So... let's take it again. Really explore the studio space this time. I mean, really.. explore the space. I like what I'm hearing.
Violin. Well, duh! :-D
Violins are very nice. I have a thing for stringed instruments because they strike a chord (no pun intended) at the heart of your every emotion. Winds are of the mind, percussion is of the id (the earthy, animalistic impulse), but strings belong strictly to the realm of feeling. That said, the twelve-string guitar is unparalleled. Nothing sounds quite like it! It is so.... well, so poignant. So captivating. So emotive. Most of you have probably never heard a twelve-string guitar before. You'd love it. I also like the oboe.
There is no "best" instrument. They all have their place.
There's nothing I like better than the sound of a banjo, unless of course it's the sound of a chicken caught in a vacuum cleaner.
What does it say on a blues singers's tombstone?-I did'nt wake up this morning.
Why do bagpipe players walk while they play?-To get away from the noise.
Piano and guitar. Playing the piano can be really relaxing.

Why is an 11-foot concert grand better than a studio upright? It makes a bigger kaboom when dropped over a cliff.
User-Abuser - You talkin bout 12 string pedal steel? If so, I agree completely!
Twelve string rickenbacker electric guitar, for that authentic jangly sound. Peddle steels are good but they can be over used, especially in country music. If used in a subtle way, they can be the dogs bollocks.
A cowbell - It can take you down, it can take you high, when I hear that juicy sound I could almost die. In times of sadness in times of joy there is nothing better hoy hoy hoy! (sorry couldn't think of anything to rythm with Joy.) In a head to head contest A cowbell solo can beat any guitar solo. Have you ever tried tapping on a cowbell - If heaven had a sound, thats what it would sound like.
oh really
