That's what they make a Spam Filter for.
All it takes to screw up your e-mails is to have someone use your e-mail address and fill out those *Ads* for win a free Lap Top, or win this or that. Once on of those guys have your address everybody might as well have it.
I keep getting one from some on-line pharmacy saying my order is ready.
