I took my nephew to the playground and I told him to strip down to his shorts, (not underwear but shorts)

Some parents though, dress their children to the nines, they look cute in their little outfits, but it's fricken hot, the parents them selves are fanning and wearing the least allowed by law.

Of course you don't want the sun beating directly on kids back, but you also don't want them overheated with the latest fashions just to play in the hot park.

Another thing, the parks have sprinkler but the kids in high fashion aren't allowed to get wet.:(

I wouldn't dress my kids uncomfortably if it was too hot, if that's what you mean (Remember I live in the UK!! Is it ever too hot here?)

^ yeah that's what I mean, it was in the 90's ( around 36 degrees Celsius) this week and they had their kids dressed in heavy clothing, they looked cute for sure, but we're having a heat wave , a tropical heat wave. :)

It really is.

Before my son was walking and we were going out in the summer, I'd put a diaper and a t-shirt on him and that was it. I probably looked like I had stolen him, because sometimes I'd dress up when we went out, but have this baby with me wearing nothing but a diaper and a shirt. lol We didn't match at all.
