I am the ultimate cheapskate.

I noticed that some airlines have rediculously low rates (limited seats, flying to nowhere) If you have to drive there it would cost several hundreds, one way, but by getting on the flight it will cost under $30.

would you go, just for the sake of going?

we are talking Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, etc.

Yeah, I would go, anywhere is better than here!
No, it's no point, no matter what the cost may be.

I always find fun things to do anyplace I go. Every "nowhere" place has quaint restaurants, libraries, museums, bars, shops, good-lookin' guys.

Here's my $30.00. I'm gonna' have me an adventure!

Voted : No, it's no point, no matter what the cost may be.
As much as I like to travel, I'm also mindful of the carbon footprint, so I'd likely stay at home, or drive. I know that driving would cost far more, but I'm also worried about the carry-on issue (lots of drugs, which would draw suspicion from those fine TSA folks :P ).
