ARE FOX NEWS POLLS RELIABLE?

[+] serious ballot by larrynelmira
ACTIVE Mon Jun 23, 08 - Tue Jun 23, 09

I don't see how they can be, especially the phone in and website polls, mostly Republicans watch Fox so most viewers would vote on issues more to the right, right?

It's like the telephone poll they did back in the thirties, the republican candidate won hands down, but come to find out, back then, mostly Republicans could afford to have a telephone, so the poll was flawed from the beginning.

Do you take much stock in the Fox News Polls?

Also , can polls on this site be taken as a reliable sample of the people on the planet?

Fox News Polls are flawed
Fox News Polls are good sample of the population
B&W Polls are flawed
B&W Polls are good sample of the Population
All polls are flawed

COMMENTS:
Voted : All polls are flawed
I'm a result-oriented person. It's like when I pick up a new diet book and half of it is filled with anecdotal stories. They are like polls in a way--mostly opinionated perceptions. I could not care less about how those other people got helped. I want to see the end result.

Again I say, as a mathematician, I can make any poll say anything I want it to say.

Voted : All polls are flawed
Fox news attempts to manipulate results in favor of their agenda (IMO). While many polls strive to have a better cross sampling of the populace they are all fallable... B&W polls can be altered by idiots wishing to change the outcome by their voting more than once on the same ballot (intentionally)...

Voted : Fox News Polls are good sample of the population
I have an uncle who is a Democrat County Commissioner who watches FOX NEWS sometimes.
He seems to like it fairly well.
He is not too fond of CNN at all.

Fox News has been caught numerous times fudging the facts. Making incorrect statements. Twisting information to fit their agenda.

It's the LEAST reliable of network newscasts.
