In general I find people with naturally left-leaning dispositions 'nicer', but that’s just my own political bias showing through. I tend to get along fine with people from both sides of the political spectrum, and try not to let my ideology affect relationships with friends and family.

I've met wonderful folks in both categories, and people whom you wouldn't allow to be tossed into your garbage in the same grouping.

I think left wingers SEMM nicer beceuase they are mostly wealthy, white, fed and complacent. I think right wingers SEEM to be not as nice because they would like to right the wrongs of the world, so they involve themselves in it, they are seen as 'swayers of the boat', and they might be defensive.
Maybe I have them reversed.

I'm not wealthy, complacent or comfortable.
I am a socialist, because of the inequality of the world, and wish to change it for the better.
The right believe in conformity,the accumulation of wealth (many times at the expense of others) and the status quo.
No right winger ever championed the rights we now enjoy (the vote, civil rights, equal rights for women etc) all were fought for by the left
Right Wingers have better manners and are polite, but are coldhearted, selfish, small minded, power hungry and greedy.
They're the wolf in disguise.
