KIDS PROTEST GAS PRICES

[+] serious ballot by UncleRandy

What's cuter than two little kids out on the street protesting gas prices because their parents can no longer afford cable TV?

Cable TV was one of the family's budget-cutting casualties, leaving Sadie, 9, and her 7-year-old sister without their favorite cartoons and shows.

*Gas prices are too high,* Sadie said. *I just decided to come and protest so they'd go down.*

The girls marched through downtown Monday chanting and carrying signs made from old campaign signs.

*All of my mom's monny goes to the gas tank!* Pyper's sign read.

Sadie carried a sign asking drivers to honk to lower gas prices — adding that her mom had to cut *cabel.*

The girls got some waves and a few thumbs-up to show support.

Hey girls, there's a library nearby. Free books!

Are you making any sacrifices?

What did you and / or your family cut back on because of the high price a Gasoline?

It's not only kids show... I'm sure that mom & dad aren't watching those premium channels either.
We did the same thing in our house. Cut out the premium channels. (Not Protest)
Play Board Games and actually talk to each other.

COMMENTS:
Haven't had to cut back, because I really ahven't driven my car more than five times in the past three months, between it being in dry dock and, now, my sister's being in, and her having to use mine to get to and from work. So I haven't really felt the pinch as yet.

Nothing. Not having cable beats inflation pretty well. Pay as you go cell phones help too. 10 percent of America accounts for the worlds oil. We can't stop rising gas prices.
