Voted : I can make ends meet but yes, prices are high
With high taxes and expected more higher taxes from Congress, it would make things worse.
Voted : I can barely make ends meet, prices are high
And don't even mention the unexpected stuff, such as car repairs.
The Cost of Dying is even worse!
USA standard of living has been going down since 1980 when the Republicans and Reagan started the "Bottom Line" is all the matters, became the predominant philosophy in America. It's known as "Greed Is Good." Send those jobs overseas, cut wages and benefits, bust up the unions, tax cuts for the rich, bring the illegal immigrants in to take our jobs so companies can save money, etc. In 1976 I got out of the Navy, got my old job back, was making $5.00 an hour. I could rent an apartment, make car payments, pay my bills, feed myself and still have some money left over for fun. Now you have people making $8.00 to $10.00 and they can't afford to LIVE! It now take BOTH parents working to raise a family. In the future the CHILDREN will have to have jobs after school and on weekends to help support the family. THIS IS WHAT IS COMING!
Voted : I can make ends meet and prices are reasonable
I'm a fantastic budgeter. I'm a thrift shop and dollar store queen. I could feel well off during a depression. I also could feel well off with the same stuff a person has who feels like a pauper. It's all relative.
