I would like to see a time when nobody should.

For the same reasons they have never been put up on the frontlines...

i'm all for equality. but equally stupid? no not for that at all. last thing a man needs is his sense of duty to protect a woman getting in the way of murdering people. call it nostalgic but i've always seen women in a nurturing role. if our own society desensitizes women as well as men to the brutality of war then what hope is there for a peaceful world?
Voted : No
I'm a woman and I consider myself to be fairly tough. I can outwork some men on the farm and I'm damn good with a rifle on the range or out hunting. But that's a world away from a frontline war zone. There's more to being on a frontline than just shooting a rifle. And I can't say that I know any women who can carry an injured 200 pound man, running, while dodging bullets, to safety.
Voted : Yes
I think women should absolutely fight on the front lines. Isreali women have done it. A 105 pound 5" tall Isreali woman I know did it. But I agree with Beelzebubba's widsom. His answer overrules mine. As I underastloanbd your ballot Winston, new technologies may make very heavy equipment obsolete.
