WHICH COMPANY IS BEST FOR PRE-PAID CELL PHONE SERVICE?

[+] serious ballot by Stinky_Fartz
ACTIVE Sun Jul 06, 08 - Mon Jul 06, 09

I ran up over $100,000 dollars in medical bills after a serious injury (and that's after what my insurance paid out), so I don't have much in the way of credit these days. Between school and work though I'm not around the house much and find a cell phone is the best way for people to get a hold of me. I've been with Virgin Mobile and their service is good enough, but their customer service is the worst I've ever seen, so I'm going to change. Which company offers the best plans and service? Right now I'm leaning toward AT&T.

AT&T
Tracfone
T-mobile

"Keep it simple" is my motto, unless you need those bells and whistles (Internet access, Bluetooth, etc). I need a phone only for calling and texting, so Tracfone does the job for mee.

Oh, and the Guv'mint hates Tracfone as well. All the more reason... ;-)

That's who I go with for the same reason that Truth does. I'm sure others might have a need, but I just can't find any use for all the bells and whistles.

it's the lowest price you can pay for a phone service. I have been on it for 3 years so far, and I love it.

it literally costs less than $1 a month (I am not a big cell user)
