ARE YOU STILL PUMPING ETHYL AS MUCH AS YOU USED TO?

[+] joke ballot by _Beelzebubba

I hear it's getting quite expensive these days.

Are you still "doing it"?

Yes, I tap it all the time. I can afford it.
No, there are other things that I need to save my money for.
I'm not, but I suspect others are.

^^ Anybody get the Fred Mertz reference above? He used to say "Oh, for corn's sake" all the time and his wife's name was Ethel.

Anybody?

I'm beginning to get it. Post a picture of Ethel and I'm there. Giggle starting to form....

Hang on. Just seen the picture at the top. I need to get the hang of this looking thing. I thought it was all to do with drugs or something. Did Fred Mertz pump ethyl?

Yes Ethel is his wife. Ever heard of the show "I Love Lucy"?
by _Beelzebubba on Thu Jul 10, 08 6:02am [+]

Yes. I hear it was a classic, but unfortunately I've never seen a whole show. About the most I've ever seen of it is from watching Back the the Future. That's also how I heard it was a classic. Because Marty McFly said so.
This ballot is making me feel a bit nostalgic for something I've never experienced. I like it when that happens.
