Voted : I'm not really sure
There are many lesser of evils options out there. Like if there's a birth defect, or if your wife needs drugs that could harm the baby, or children having children. So I don't know.
Voted : YES, it's MURDER
It is premeditated ending of a human life. It may not be an adult, but it is human from th4e moment of conception.
I realized just now that the premeditated ending of a human life may not always be murder, like in applying the death penalty. But I think abortion as a means of birth control IS murder. In the case of rape, a woman should NOT be required to give birth to a child sired against her will. To do THAT would be to rape her all over again for every second she carries the child. If the woman wants an abortion, she should be able to get one and the RAPER should be held accoutable for the murder of the child, since his actions forced her to do it.
Its an issue that will ALWAYS be 50/50 and never get a resolution. Even if the 50% that deems it murder gets a law passed against it tomarrow, it will be reversed again somewhere down the road. Nobody will ever win with this one.
Babies are NOT tissues!!! Whoever wrote that as a choice should be returned to your mother's womb, and your mom should abort you, to see if you like it. She should abort you 'cause you're also a piece of unwanted tissue!!! http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd273/amy2007_08/AntiAbortion.jpg
No point arguing this. There's 0% chance of changing anyone's mind who actually cares enough to comment. IMO, if it isn't in your body, it's none of your damn business in the first place, so until you've been in the position of being pregnant with an unwanted/unplanned child, your opinion is worthless. Don't go trying to tell a blind man the best way to do a jigsaw puzzle here. And I think if you have been in this obviously precarious situation yourself, you would respect that it's a difficult enough decision that nobody needs your judgemental B.S. at the moment.
Nobody is saying anything about the body of the woman having the baby. The pregnant woman can do whatever the fuck she wants with her body, I'm only talking about the BABY! And what do you know about me being in that situation or not? You don't know me nor my past. I've been through this situation. Right now I'm 17 but I had a baby when I was 15 and the doctor had said that when it was only 2 weeks old, it was already alive. So I didn't kill a living human-being that was MY 0WN kid. If I had killed that baby, it would've been in my conscience for the rest of my life. Luckily I did NOT kill that "tissue", and now it's a beautiful boy that's 2 years of age, and to me it does NOT look like a tissue. You should go mind your own business and I stay strong with my opinion, so to me it's not B.S. But your opinion is also worthless. Not going to keep on arguing with someone not worth the time.
I apologize for insulting you, although I said "you" so whoever is reading (even men) are put into that position. Back to the issue, at the point in fetal development where you'd have an abortion, it may as well be just a body part of the woman. I hardly consider that to be a "baby." It has no human form, no sensation, no conscience, and may as well be considered a *cringe* parasite. idk. I have no desire to try and sway anyone. I do wish people would respect that their decision is just that, THEIR decision. Obviously, people's value systems vary tremendously.
No it's ok, really. But like you said, there's 0% chance in changing someone's mind when they strongly believe something. So I'll stop arguing about this subject. I know it's VERY controversial. But let's leave it at that; I believe what I believe, and NO ONE can change it, the same with what you strongly think.
