Actually yes. A Unitatian Universalist co-worker was in a car accident. His car got totally demolished, he came out without a scratch, but he was in emotional upheaval. I hugged him just cuz I was glad he was OK.

I'm a special case, I'm male, white, just over 70, gay I suppose by inclination but never 'active' (and this butt fetish thing is totally unacceptable)..
I never get even hugs, I would pay for some if I could afford it maybe, but no friendly embraces. The intimacy stuff is far beyond me no doubt.
I do kind of like the Unitarians (UU), not one myself. They're the only reasonable ones, but sometimes I wonder with their Wiccans and pagans and secular humanists and others.. Perhaps we all DO need professional certified HUGGERS to give it to us once in a while (at a Very modest fee)..
I'd probably go to the local UU church if it was closer, and I could ask a nice man for a warm brotherly hug an' chicken dinner an' that's all, folks.. (-:
