I'm an equal fan of both, love animation in general. I've always thought that it was a potentially better medium for storytelling than live-action, and the budget is significantly lower.

Among friends, oddly enough, I'm in the distinct minority. Go figure...

I mostly like anything new and improved. Tho I do love 30's and 40's atmoshperic black and white movies.

CG has changed the animated film forever. The best hand drawn animation is a beautiful thing, and most CG just looks shit. Of course Pixar is an exception.

They both have their places. Neither is superior to the other for all applications. Neither is either applicable to all applications. Think, for example, about those films done in Anime, live action or Claymation. Would they be as good in TA or CG? I think not.
