When I was 12 or 13, I started doing odd jobs like mowing or raking yards. I got my first 'real' job where I got an actual paycheck when I was 15.

For legality's sake, I was a clerk in a store when I was 14. But I'd been "working" as a tutor since I was 6.

I used to cut lawns and tutor kids. even back then(20+ years ago), I got paid more than the current minimum wage. Instead of raising minimum wage, we should try to open the market for lower wage jobs, and make the employers compete against one another. bidding system always works.

I worked at the nearby Roller Skating Rink, cleaning up... you know, sweeping emptying the garbage. They paid cash so I could get those new Speed Skates. (I was on the speed team).
About 6,when my mother told me to keep an eye on my little brother.
