Probably, though I don't remember any particular incident.

I've worked in chicken houses, swam in swamps, fallen down in hog runs, drunk from creeks, inseminated cows, handled dead bodies, etc.., so I'm not too worried about a little butt flavored cat slobber. lol

Not that I can recall. My dirty bitches eat stuff which I've licked though.

Even though dogs' tongues are supposed to be cleaner than humans'. That picture looks just like my Collie, Bobo, may he rest in piece.

But I have tasted dog biscuits.

^ Haha, now that! I have! done.

One night, while drinkin', a friend bet me I wouldn't eat a handful of small, chocolate bone, dog treats. I thought "it's only chocolate, why not?' Lol, tasted like shite, like no kind of chocolate I've ever tasted.

I wasn't quite two, and eating a sandwich at the kitchen table. My cat Patricia hopped up on the table and began licking at the portion where I'd been eating. I shooed her away and finished the sandwich, never considering the possible health risk.

britvic, I'm not too certain about that. A few weeks later, she clawed me, jumped out my bedroom window (second-story) and was never seen again. Maybe she did pick up something, and was a little upset...

lol I've tasted pet food too, in my younger days out of curiosity.

Although I do admit that as far back as a couple of years ago, I tasted cat medicine. It was a urine acidifier for a cat with a UTI. I couldn't hardly give it to the cat that was supposed to take it because one of my other cats would almost literally attack me trying to get it out of my hands. So I got curious and wondered just what in the hell it tasted like. Not bad at all to be honest. Tasted kind of like Chinese food, sweet with a beefy taste. lol

I remember a friend told me of the time years ago when he came home stoned, looked in the fridge, and found a bowl of tuna fish. So he proceeded to get the bread and mayo out and made sandwiches out of all that was in the bowl. Said it was damn good too! He thought it was just regular tuna until the next morning when his mother asked him what happened to the cat's food the she had in the fridge.

Good ones, Grumpy.

I've tasted cat food before -- both wet and dry -- and it is fairly disgusting.

I always taste the medicine I give my cats. Last week one of them went in for a procedure, and the vet sent me back with a liquid antibiotic so bitter that it made my cat's mouth foam. I decided not to give it to him. He healed fine on his own, but I've been watching him like a hawk.

I remember those F.U.S. pills -- big and tan-colored, right? Very yeasty smell. Our cats responded the same way to those pills!

I bet Grumpy and Mojo have lovely shiny coats.
by britvic55 on Fri Aug 01, 08 4:35am [+]

^ LOL We sure do.

No, it wasnt the pills, Mojo. It was Methegel (sp?). Some sticky/oily stuff in a big tube. The cat that was supposed to get it didn't like it for some reason. I had to hide it in my pocket when I went to give it to him. And even then he knew something was up. Must have seen the bulge in my pocket because he'd take off running when I walked out the door with it. It had molasses in it, a beef flavoring, and I think the active ingredient was methionine or something.

The cat I have now I give vitamins that have a yeast flavor. She doesn't care for them one bit. Tried to give her one one time and she slapped the hand that had the pill in it. Slapped me before I I even picked her up and then took off running. lol
