Comcast terminted my high speed internet service saying I was downloading too much video from file sharing services.

They said I was way above what a residential customer should be using and one of the highest bandwidth users in the area.

They claimed I was downloading movies, WRONG! Which in their minds makes me a criminal. I was downloading concert videos from trader sites.

Since when is it Comcast's job to police it's users? It's like the Casinos banning you if you win too much money, or all you can eat buffett's banning you because you eat too much.

Big Deal! So I got Verizon High Speed Internet 3 days later.

So be careful BIG BROTHER AND THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION ARE WATCHING YOU!

This was wrong to do to you. I mean the service is there for the very reason you used it. A KIND of the same thing (but not exactly) happens with stores I shop at. If I am seen too frequently at a store, they act like I'm a pain in their butts. "Oh, it's HER again," They are too stupid to realize I am spending money there!!!

They ought to welcome me with open arms cuz I'm one of their best customers, rather then get irritated because they see me so often.

In the same vein, Comcast should honor you as one of their best users. This is an example of a company being so stupid and ass-backwards it shoots iitself in the foot.

well at least they didn't fap you and lower your throughput. I have friends in RV's with their satellite connection that gets kicked down to 50kbps if they use more than like 200mb a day.

now you have the free market option to go and find the best company that will appreciate you as a customer.
