No, but one of the admins had to let the webmaster back in because he accidentally banned himself.
I've heard about it. Some guy started a messageboard. Appointed some mods. Fought with mods and got banned...

Not yet, anyway. Have been chucked out of a couple of places, though.
Someone I know was very well-liked within the online HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) community. She nourished many friendships over several years, and constantly maintained a positive air on her site.
Then she decided to throw it all away just because she didn't like a certain forum, namely mine. (No, it's not that forum. It's something completely unrelated to anything here.) She trolled it mercilessly and dragged my forum into a war against hers. She was a piss-poor troll too lol, it was very easy to track her down. When she was found out it seriously damaged her reputation amongst members of her own forum. She made a quick retreat, and shut it down. Other prominent members of the HSP community started another forum without her, so in a sense she did end up getting banned from her own forum.
I had absolutely no desire whatsoever to compete with other forums. Never did and never will. She threw away many of her closest friendships over a grudge with me because she didn't think I was "HSP" enough.
Earthmaiden/Logan (the names she went by), if you're reading this, hope it was worth it, bitch.
So now that's 2 people I know lol.
nuck, I went through nothing that dramatic in getting banned. One forum, which I won't name (the superficial . com, remove the spaces, please) is a forum when the woes of stars are often aired out, like TMZ. The users there seemed to take a perverse delight in making fun of those poor folks, so I took a perverse delight in making fun of *them*. (Here, the old adage "They can dish it out, but they can't take it" applies.) One day, I tried to log in, and couldn't. Tried to re-register under another username, and found my IP addy blocked...
In the other, the first Adult Swim forum, I committed the unpardonable sin of bashing Gundam Wing in the presence of several GW nutzoids, including the mod of that particular forum board. Got banned, but the Admis all decided that they mod had gone too far, reinstated me. Other mods, also GW nutzoids, baneed me over and over, until they themselves got banned. I was asked to join again, but never went back. Haven't been to the site at *all* since.
