A pervert on Yahoo Chats sent me a picture of child porn in my email, I did notify yahoo but I don't know if they take actions because the perv is still there, yahoo didn't expel him.

Should I also notify the local police or some other law enforcement agency or just trust Yahoo to do the right thing?

I also worry that the picture might be stuck on my computer, hidden away someplace and I could even be charged if somehow it pops up in repair shop.

Of course most importantly, I want the perv to be punished for doing this to children.

So what should I do ?

What sort of chat wat it? Why on earth would the bloody fool send you child pornography? How did he, or perhaps she, explain why they sent it to you? Did they just send you the filth for no reason?

^ he was in university chat, he's there a lot and if you ever went to chat room you know after a while everyone kinda knows each other.

I never gave him any indication I would want such a thing. It's not a sexual chat room, we talk about world affairs and such. He did make a neg comment a while back about Arabs, many are in that that room, we got in little argument when I defended them , I thought he was over that though because it was few months ago.

I really don't know why he chose me

erase it immediately, since you are over 18, I am sure you can be charged with posession, and as far as I know that's felony and you get labelled a sex offender and listed on the sex offender list just like the rapists and etc, if they find that crap on your computer.

block the perv, and also notify police.
