Voted : Watching a movie on TV, when a newsflash came on
This was a tragic day, and it made the US friends all over the world. Its a pity, the Bush administration threw away all that good will
I was participating in a circle jerk with Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Pearle and Donald Rumsfeld. Man, there was barely enough lotion and tissues to get us through the felling of WTC7.
Voted : On my way home from a job interview
I had been listening to my CD's in the car as I stopped at a store to get some smokes. Everyone had their car radios really loud and this strange look on their faces. Nobody was talking. I went inside and asked the clerk what was going on. Sheesh!
Voted : Goofing off at home
My annual bout with fall allergies was just kicking in, so I took the day off work. I watched a little bit of the morning news shows, but nothing was going on, so I turned the TV off and spent the next few hours playing on the net. I turned on the TV in about the middle of the afternoon and couldn't believe what was going on. It turns out that the whole thing started about five minutes after I turned off the TV.
Voted : Trying to clean out my e-mail inbox
After three hours of fighting it, I gave up and signed out. The signout took me to the ABC News page, where I saw the story "Plane strikes World Trade Center". I thought "Wow", remembering a incident back in 1947 when a B-25 bomber hit the Empire State Building, thinking a similar occurrence. At the time, I was staying with my friend David, who was suffering from pancreatic cancer. I went into his room, to ask him if he needed anything. I found him slack-jawed, staring at his TV, tears pouring down his cheeks. I turned to the TV in time to see the second plane hit...
Voted : Goofing off at home
I was at home sick from school. I'm glad I missed school that day since everyone went nuts that day there by what I heard.
Voted : All day long w/ buddy's mom, trying to find him new place to live!
And I didn't get to see any of it on television as it was happening! Darn!
Voted : Waiting for my rideto work
This is going to sound very strange, but I was on the sidewalk waiting for a my ride to work, ENVISIONING an airplane accident happening in New York City. I had not had the radio on that morning before my ride came.
