DO YOU LISTEN TO THE CANDIDATES SPEECHES

[+] serious ballot by larrynelmira

Or do you listen to the talking heads and balloteirs who more times than not, take things out of context.

Often when I do some research of what was really said, I notice talking heads and SOME people on this site don't give the whole story, the next sentence sometimes changes entirely what the candidate actually said and or meant.

I listen to the speeches of both friend and foe
I only listen to my candidates speeches
I listen to the talking heads and ballottiers
I listen to *everything*

I've noticed that too, larry.

I'll research what I find while researching because even the media outlets will only tell you what they want you to hear.

I pay little attention to your candidates, but if something significant makes it my way, I'll pay it some mind. What specifically do you mean about ballotiers taking things out of context? Examples would be helpful.

Still, do some research. Candidates also don't give the whole story, rather only the parts to emphasize their side.

Very good ballot.

And form my own opinions, just as my HS journalism teacher taught me.

more than often those candidates talk out of their asses too.

all that fervor over the Obama saying "putting lipstick on a pig" when McCain said that exact thing less than 6 months ago. You really have to look at what they do vs what they say.

There are a lot of people out there that just want to hear what the what to hear.

This is so true of almost all my friends that are on the Republican side. They think that Ms. Palin is a great choice. And that all the Hillary die-hards are now gonna vote for their side.

It's like they don't even know how far to the 'right' Palin is.

Lately I have been reading the transcripts after the speech and I am aware a lot of what is said is empty words... it's far better to look at their records and see who they are surrounded by in making any judgements on any of them...

it's mostly all crap. though in total sincerity, i do believe that barry o' means much of what he says.
