THE DOWNFALL OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY: WHO OR WHAT IS THE CAUSE ?

[+] serious ballot by thesoothsayer
ACTIVE Fri Oct 24, 08 - Sat Oct 24, 09

As election day draws nearer, we hear of more and more "defectors" everyday... now, the finger pointing has began in earnest (not that it wasn't going on the last eight years, anyone who came out against the direction or tactics was promptly "discredited" and labeled...) ... what do you feel was the straw that broke the camels back, or the person you most attribute the reason for this ongoing implosion ?

George W Bush's Administration
The Mortgage meltdown
The American People waking up
The Democrats
The terrorists
Republican incompetence
The Neocons
Sarah Palin
Hypocrisy
Bigotry
The Conservative Party
It's Called ARROGANCE!

COMMENTS:
Voted : The Conservative Party
They let the Right side of the Conservative speak for the whole Republican Party.

And the worst part about it was that the Republicans thought that was a good idea.

Voted : The Conservative Party
^ Agreed.

Also that personal and theologically conservative ideologies have pushed aside constitutionally conservative ones. And it started happening long before either of the Bush boys were in office.

I haven't been here that long but it seems to me that the ballot maker displays an antipathy to the Republican party and its members and therefore his/her assertion that the Party has been destroyed is an exercise in stupidity.

Voted : George W Bush's Administration
First choice.

Last choice.

Every choice in between, IMO.

Sycophants abounding, none capable of finding their arses with a road map, a copy of Grey's Comparative and a doctor to help.

N_O, if yopu don't like the reality posed by the Fine Balloteer, you're free to seek out other realities to delude yourself in. Unless you're blessed to be one of the Top Two Percent, you *have* to see the mess that this country is in, and who's been at the rudder during the run-aground process.

Noblese_Oblige is a good example of why the party is imploding. Attack the messenger, ignore the facts... based on your past comments and ballots, you are incapable of discerning anything... nowhere did I say the republican party is destroyed... but you are a perfect example of why they are in dire straits (anyone who came out against the direction or tactics was promptly "discredited" and labeled) and you know what you are, I don't have to tell you...
