Voted : Accupressure
I take two acetometophine tablets, an aspirin, and a cup of sweet coffee. It usually works to at least alleviate it. If that doesn't work, try accupressure. There's two points that I know of for headache. One is the muscle between the thumb and forefinger. The other is a point almost between two of the muscles on the top of the forearm, about four fingers width from the bend of the elbow. To use either method, find the spot that hurts the most when you press hard on it. When you find the spot, press on it with your finger tips as hard as you can for at least a minute. Accupressure with a combination of meditation actually worked with the worst migrane I've had. And I used that simply because I was in too much pain to get up and take anything for it.
My mistake... It's closer to three finger widths from the bend of the elbow.
Voted : Excedrin and here is my therapy
The longest Migraine I have ever had was all day until I got some Excedrin... My Dad and I both had migraines. We discovered this kind of therapy. Take two or Excedrin. Lie on a bed on your back so your face is pointing upwards. The room must be absolutely dark or cover your eyes with something. NO PILLOW. This eases your neck muscles. A pillow actually throws your head forward, tensing the muscles. Wrap your neck and ears with a shirt or sheet so there is no sense of air on your ears or behind your neck. Cover yourself with a comforter. Cool breezes will make you clench your muscles, adding a tension headache to the works. But on the other had, don’t put the heater on either, because you need to breath cool fresh air. Breathing heated air will stuff you up and you don’t want that. SLEEP, if you can. It takes about 2 to 4 hours for this therapy to work for me. I hope it helps you. But it doesn’t work for me without the Excedrin.
^That was supposed to be "two Excedrin". I don't know how I got the "or" in there.
lately, I found that 1000mg of aspirin with a nice thick juicy steak helps. I think my body is craving meat. Been trying vegetarian diet for a while now, but some days, I can't stand it anymore and pig out on animal carcasses. the headache stops within an hour.

Voted : Medications prescribed by a doctor
If you are having headaches lasting that long it would be best to see your doctor. If you're hardly eating any meat you could have an iron deficiency. Best to at least eat some skinless chicken now and again, although it is the red meat which contains more iron.
