We have a high of 18 today, but in a couple days it will warm up a little and start raining. I don't think we're going to have a white Christmas this year. That's like three or four years in a row without snow for Christmas. This is very unusual. Could this be due to global warming?

It got down to 24 F this morning and not expected to get above 37 today. No snow yet, but it's expected to sleet tomorrow. If this east Texas weather keeps up it's old habits though, we should be running around in shorts in a couple of days.

Las Vegas is still in the 30's and 40's. Count that as feeling 20 degrees colder because of low humidity. And lower it even more because of wind. On a dry, windy day here of 60 degrees (yes--60), the body feels it as 20 degrees. And because there is no moisture barrier on your clothes, the cold can go right through a ski jacket like you are naked. It is overcast today and the weather forecasts are telling us we might get more snow. I HATE THE COLD. I can't wait for summer. Though I must blushingly admit, the snow was real purty.
The best snow temperat6ure in Las Vegas is high for some reason--like 36 degrees.
