Land O lakes sharp cheddar, to be exact...
Voted : Cheddar
It's what I use, when I can keep myself from eating the stuff before I get around to sandwiching it...
Voted : Cheddar
Cheddar is more tasty. American is more mild, but after growing up eating grilled cheap American cheese sandwiches that my grandmother made, it's hard to stay away from them.

When they're good and hot, the cheese melts into the bread a bit more than cheddar. It just seems to add a creamy/cheezy texture to more of the sandwich.

Voted : American
A classic. I've tried it with American and Swiss together and it was pretty tasty.

I like Swiss, American, and Munster on mine. Also... It's really good with Rye Bread.
^Munster on rye... that sounds good!
Voted : Cheddar
I think I like me some thick slices of sharp cheddar.

Swiss and cheddar. Munster's great too when I've got it.
Voted : Brie
On potato bread.
