I know, you can say anything you want about any country on the planet, that really doesn't bother me but I never understood why people don't allow choices.

...And the worst thing about Europe and the U.K. would be the self righteous pricks who love to sit in moral judgment when they have a pretty grimy little history of their own. You're a rather fine specimen of that species, quirky.

Well, sweetness, that's a rather "typical" response from you also, if I might be so bold. If I mayn't, I guess I'll just need to live with your disapproval.
To look at this analytically, the ballot poster speaks of the U.S. in third person. They also have a rather poor command of English grammar. They could be Canadian, but they would be a disgrace to the Canadian education system. As a general rule, I have almost never seen anyone from Asia posting this type of ballot in the five years since I arrived here.
We would appear to have almost no ballot writers on this site from Africa or Latin America.
So, basically, that leaves Australia, the U.K., and Europe, and, as I stated, the grammatical skills of the poster are atrocious. They misspell numerous words, misuse possessives, and, in general, if they *don't* have English as as a second language, they're woefully illiterate.
Also, from the general tone, it reads like dozens of ballots from pompous Euro trash I've seen on this site. The language used, the way it's phrased, and the tone of absurdly heightened moral indignation, they're all too familiar.
So, frankly, I will bet you ten quid, that this asshole's from Europe, unless they've just a command of English that would shame an elementary-school boy.

As I've said a million times and am sick of repeating this. This is an american site and so I don't really get to show you how I feel about pompous pricks. but seeing as you think I'm one felix then I can only assume that A) you have no sense of humour, and B) you think all europeans are similar which proves my point about americans being full of shit.... :-)

what diversity does america have? you're all kind of segregated. you have different areas for different colours.

Quirk99, as is my right, I deleted my own comments because to be honest, I don't want to get into it with you. I don't want to be rude and I don't want to be needlessly disrespectful, but I seriously cannot understand you and rather than waste my time, I decided to simply withdraw. You have in fact wished all Americans dead Quirk, I read the ballot.
You called my response a rant, yet look at your comments. Sorry, but I in total sincerity cannot really deal with someone who insults so easily.. I guess when you ramble on, going from point-to-point it's wisdom and your words are golden. But someone else who write less and is more direct an concise is ranting? So no hard feelings at all, but that's why I really prefer not to debate anything with you. I admit my misktake is to comment and the I regret "letting you in," and I delete them. How you saw my comments when I deleted them within the self-edit window I'll never know. :)

This is one reason why I don't want to argue with you. You will believe that, no matter how wrong you are and despite the fact you've neve been here and have no idea what you're talking about on that issue. I'm fairly confident you will tell me and other American's that we're wrong, even though we actually live here. Sorry, but it is a fact, we are extremely integrated Quirk and if you maybe let go of your bias and actually researched the facts or mayb came here and spent a few months, you'd know that making that statement is so far from the truth, you might think twice about it. :) Now, Europe on the other hand......

I base most of my comments on segregation from what americans have told me. otherwise i would have no opinion.
What about europe? Are you talking nationalistic segregation or ethnic segregation? One of the biggest causes of destructive warfare in europe is because the ethnic cultures are too integrated.
Flat out saying my information is wrong is just childish. You live in new york as you said. Don't people in new york consider themselves as somewhat different to the rest of the USA?
If new york is your example of integration then that's no different to london or amsterdam or paris or berlin etc. each of those has its chinese quarter latin quarter etc.
within 50 yards of my house I can count around 10 different nationalities encompassing most spectrums of religious faith and colour. where I live is not typical. this is a mostly white area. The houses are valued quite highly and this is not a poor area by any means.
We don't however have any reservations. Border crossings are not met by gun fire. Crimes are not generally targetted on the nearest black person available.
Don't get me wrong there are many racists but that really is going of topic.

Anyway, no I'm not just thinking of New York. I've been lucky enough to travel extensively in my own country. But as I suspected, you have your mind made up and regardless of how wrong you are, experience has shown me you won't change your mind. So, thanks for the debate, albeit brief. :)
