Voted : Security
Most of their troops are malnourished, and Kimmy's no spring chicken, it's anybodies guess who'll take over. I'd guess they're just flexing their arm, trying to make the rest of the world think they've got a solid grip on their own affairs. Though I don't know how effective that'd be when the bomb the just detonated is three times less powerful than Fat Man, the bomb dropped on Nagasaki.

While I almost put superpower part of me realised that wasn't it. They know they can be taken out with a single hit.

So all they really want is to be taken seriously.

So that just leaves a threat that they can't back up. but a threat all the same.

I dont think it makes sense for anyone to have nuclear weapons. But until everyone disarms, everyone will want one.

I find this fairly obvious really.

^We are the west. The west who have drawn up constitutions entrenched in the foundations of our nations ensuring the most fundamental of all rights and necessities to life for all. The west who pay taxes, taxes that go to fund government organizations to ensure that in times of disaster and peril, no one is left behind, no one starves to death; taxes that in addition fund the fairest legal systems on the planet, ensuring order and justice for all. Taxes that also go to fund the military's of the west, to protect and ensure our and the world's interests, and whether you like it or not, nuclear weapons are included in some of these military's. Are you telling me the North Korean military has the worlds interests at heart with their nuclear weapons? Or do they have the North Korean communist party's best interests at heart?

^when push comes to shove we all have our own interests at heart (even the tax paying west).
