Now here's a question.
Playing along with this is not as easy as you imagine Runswith.
When My son decided he was going to try and impress me by telling me he was a satanist I derailed him by pointing out that meant he believed in god too. so he's not a satanist now thankfully, not that i'd care if he was. i'd just think he was silly. Of all world religion I think satanism is probably the least destructive.
The problem for me is that the concept of heaven and hell suggests a form of eternity that makes no sense. So how do I judge who goes where?
How about I suggest anyone who kills in the name of god???

In my scenario bush would be in hell. But he's a christian isn't he? god told him to do it. That makes it ok.
If it's not ok then america was run for 8 years by satan and noone did a thing about it.
so heres what I'm going to suggest.
The people that should go to hell are those that claim to have a belief who refuse to do anything about someone using thier belief to cause the deaths of others inclusive of said claiment. so any bush supporters are off to hell for a start. Anyone who straps a bomb to themselves or talks someone into doing it. Anyone who sits back and claims a religion and does nothing to stop those who warp their belief into something murderous.
In short anyone who claims a faith and does nothing to stop people who abuse that faith from commiting atrocities should burn in hell along with the people who commit those atrocities.
If that sounds harsh think about this,
If you didn't accept this ridiculous concept of good over evil you would be free to chose your own thoughts on morality and not fear religious bigotry and peer pressure. you would be free to see bush and people like him for what they really are. Yet you chose to ascribe them to hell and give it no more thought even though you share the same god???
By not being a christian this is not a fate you have to consider and not a fate anyone can actually make a judgement on. anyone who tries is going to come over as either a christian who thinks he's going to live forever and so talks in terms of either repentance or malicious ideals. or a non christian who sees christianity for what it actually is. Thereby prefering to consign christians to whatever fate they deserve and hell is where that one lands.
Christianity invented hell, it's an effective means of control. certainly the small boys that the priests took advantage of were more afraid of hell than taking a bit of cock. It's what assured their silence.
So in a nutshell.
Christians should go to hell.

It's kinda metaphorical. to me hell is meaningless without christianity. There is no hell so therefore you cant go there. but you probably deserve to if you want to chose to believe in something like that.
or something like that. but the simple truth is it's impossible to judge someone to that fate. Not man Not god.
Most people have at least a shread of decency even if you dont want to see or believe it. on that basis alone i cant send anyone to somewhere worse than the hell they are probably already in :-X

How can morals come from the bible. heaven is not an alternative to hell.
