I joined a video gaming club to talk with others who are into video games very heavy and sure they have a few gamers like me who actually play the video games. Turns out most of the site is actually geared towards many thing's and video games turns out to be dead last in the list. They talked up about their video game group and then you get in and it's like only about 100 people there for gaming of a club that claimed to have over 2,000 members in the gaming area. BOO!!!
I have since shown the gamers far better sites for games yay!!!

So has something like this ever happened to you?

Yes.
No.

I was in an SF discussion group, and the members shot the breeze on everything *but* SF. Eventually told them goodbye and left. They keep asking me to come back.
