Voted : I count after I see the lightning to determine how close it is first
And I usually sit right where I am and watch. I've always been lured to storms. When I was a child, I had to be dragged inside from the porch, where I liked to sit and watch the storm progress.
Voted : I finish what I am doing then go inside
I like watching an approaching storm. I don't go inside until it either starts raining or lightning.
Voted : I shut my computer down and tum off the surge protector
I might not get fried, but my computer might.
Voted : I go inside if the thunder is earsplitting loud
I'll use my own judgment and eventually go in when I think it's not safe to be out anymore.
Lightening used to not bother me until I was sitting in my den one evening during a thunderstorm and lightening struck about 30 feet outside the window. We get a little more of it on the hill we live on than some of the lower places do.
