This teacher was giving us a spelling test, which I was assiduously taking, along with all the other students. He walked up to my desk and tore up my paperwork and threw it away. Just like that. said, "I wasn't doing anything wrong. I was taking the test". He said, "I know it. And now you have an F because you have no paperwork. My parents never believed any of this shit happened. It happened, and far worse happened, which is too traumatic to talk about. I had a horrifying childhood with very bizarre treatment from many teachers. The best teacher I had was a Mormon minister who was absolutely as fair as a human being could be. He was acutely aware that the other teachers had filled my fellow students with contempt for me through their brazen mistreatment of me in front of other students This teacher got me my first job as a receptionist to a person with a home cleaning business. And he believed me (I think he was the only adult who ever did) and he stood up for me!! when he found the person was having me to do unpaid housework.
^credit to the Mormon teacher. There are some really decent people in the world. Just a pity the bad ones can do a heck of a lot of damage to people's lives.

Mrs. Bowling was my third grade teacher. She was always smacking one of us with the yard stick she carried in her hand at all times.

I remember my meanest teacher from 4th grade. For some reasons, she did not like me. It was more verbal than anything else. She tried to turn the classmates against me too and succeeded in some ways. But she never tried to fail me, just belittled me.---On a sidenote, my 3rd grade and my 5th grade teacher were good and really nice too.

Both, but one was much more than a fifth grade history teacher. He proved that education can be interesting. Can't say too many good words for the guy.
