WHY ARE PEOPLE EXEMPT FROM ANYTHING BECAUSE OF RELIGION?

WHY ARE PEOPLE EXEMPT FROM ANYTHING BECAUSE OF RELIGION?

At the hospital I do training getting swine flu vaccination is mandatory, those who don’t may face suspension, however, several people have asked exemption for religious reasons and the hospital is taking their request under review.

I have no problem getting the vaccine myself, but is this policy really fair?

Why in equal rights for all should exemption for religious reasons on any situation be okay?

If I have to go or do, shouldn’t you?

Not really trying to knock religion but doesn't really seem right

Some taboo practices to some religions are psychologically equivalent to death. To these people, a practice we think noting of might be emotionally equivalent to cannibalism or something equally repugnant.

What possible reason can they give for not wanting a flu jab based on religion? I cant see it as a taboo in any religion forgetmenot. With the possible exceptions of more extreme cultism such as jehova's or mormons or scientologists.

These people may well end up killing people with their ridiculous medieval approach to medicine. They should be forced into isolation then if this is their choice. See how they react to that option. I would imagine their "religious" beliefs would suddenly change...

It's a miracle!!!!!
