uh, the victim says the court system damaged her more than polanski did.
she doesn't want to sue/press charges (she got her civil settlement). It's gonna be a huge waste of time and money to bring him to trial without a cooperating victim.
^ that's true, my beef is that France and other countries want special treatment for him, I don't think they are doing it because of the woman not pressing charges.

He's guilty. Unless evidence proves otherwise, end of story. Whatever the facts are about a crime.
It's not just about one victim. What if there's another? Preventing another crime is just as important as justice for the victim.
