My grandparents use kill traps. No mice at my house. We do have a cat, but me thinks she's a little too porky to catch a mouse. Up at the cabin we use poison.
^ My cats would never catch and kill a mouse. They're too pampered for that. They would probably jump up on a chair and expect me to catch the mouse.

My Dad set up a kill trap and when he found a dead mouse in it, he cried. Then he caught them live and drove them somewhere far away. My Dad did have his sensitive side, after all.

I have cats, so no need for traps.
I refuse to put out poison due to my dogs, cats, and the wild life we have around. A cat we used to have almost died one time after eating a rat that the hubby poisoned.

I had a mouse a few months ago, tiny thing, I caught it in a mouse box and let it go on a field, I felt very pleased with myself until my daughter pointed out that it was a town mouse and will proberbly get eaten on its first night out in a field!!!!!!!!
