WWII was way too ugly to not choose Germany as the default answer. I love Germany for the most part though. Awesome clubs and people, even with the ones who are stuck on themselves, it's not a bad place now.
Wow, really fricking surprised about this germany nonsense. I mean really, if we look at history the french agreements were strangling Germany. Not to say that the war was good, but come on, they needed to get a way out of that one. As for Germany now? Its a completly different place, How can you judge a country on past crimes like that? This should be based on current opinion not speculation and memories. In my vote I think the worst country is probably Madagascar or some other smaller country where massive amounts of people are dying for reasons we cannot completly understand.

Western Europe and America were ultimately responsible for WWII because of the humiliation they forced upon Germany created a social system that allowed Hitler to thrive. When they say to the victor goes the spoils they are fucking lying, any victory in war will always come back to haunt you. I hate humanity as a whole and we should all fucking die.

God this is really bad not one of you have a solid reason to hate ANY countries, not even you USA haters.
I don't think you can put WWI on France that would be inaccurate. Germany was not under any French-influenced agreements prior to WWI. The Germans were trying to invade the world from every corner, they even tried to the Mexico to let them invade the US byway of Mexico. So, the blame it on the French doesn't apply.
I can't hate the Germans because I respect them, it took a massive alliance to stop them twice. What did they have, the Italians, well okay the Japs in WWII who proved to be just as bad as the Germans but still. It took more countries to stop them, while they did most of their takeovers singlehandedly.
Sadly, not one of you have one good reason to actually hate anyone, so why in the hell do you waste your time hating people and not just get to the learning and understanding phase of life?
Peraro, it wasn't like Germans were rushing to rebuild France and bury the dead now were they? They got what they deserved, maybe it was a bit harsh, but Japan received harsh treatment after WWII and they didn't elect a Hitler.
First of all, for those of you who conviniently forgot, Germany did not start WWI. The tension between Germany an Britain, the worlds two greatest industrial powers at the time, and traditional franko/prussian hatred ignited WWI into the horror it eventually became.
These other comments mysteriously forget that there was another century before the last one and believe it or not a few more before that. The glorius British empire brought death and misery everywhere it went and several of the worlds most bitter conflicts today are direct legacies of the British empire. The British set about destroying the cultures of all the peoples they conquered and butchered those who would not bow down before them.
The French believe it or not, started the occasional bloody struggle themselves. Anyone ever here of that Napoleon guy?
Anyway who started what war is a fairly narrow view of the whole thing. What about the West African and South American warlords who let hundreds of thousands die on a whim. Even George W ain't so bad next to those guys.

I 've been to quite few countries.I didn't think Germany was sucha bad place to live.Actually it was pretty nice place to visit.I wouldn't wanna live in some countries where I have to worry about catching some dreadful desease by just drinking water though.so my answer goes to any under developed nation.There we go.

It doesn't make any sense to me to despise everyone in an entire nation. You can dislike the foreign policies of a country or some of its international impact but I don't agree with detesting an entire nation and everyone it in it. It's a grotesque form of generalization.
Since most members of this site are affiliated with the democratic party, I'm not surprised at the result of this ballot. Democrats used to be patriots. Remember FDR? What happened to the democratic party?
