I haven't the slightest clue. I also don't know what qualifies an infantry as being the "best." If pressed, I'd guess that the United States or Russia would top that list.
Without being some king of military expert/historian, it's impossible to comment.
You know the USA is gonna top any list here lol. Need I say more? ;o)
^ If for no other reason than a fool's hope that the bazillion dollars we pump into our military is doing something :/

I hate to disabuse usmcmidn but according to the USMC training time for a UMSC rifleman (MOS 0311) is 13 weeks basic and 51 days advanced. A British infanteer is 26 weeks (14 basic, 12 advanced). Also the USMC specialises its infantry into rifleman, machinegunner etc whereas the British are trained to a high standard in all weapons. And I'm sorry but the US Army doesn't even come close with a poxy 14 weeks training (10 basic, 4 advanced). I'm bound to say British however the Aussie army is highly trained, being based on the British system.
