Voted : Have a more positive outlook on life
Sometimes it takes a close call like that for a person to make positive changes in their life.
Voted : Who knows? The brain makes up its own rules.

Voted : Try to make the most of the time I have left
I had an artery blockage in my knee back in '96 and underwent surgery and it prompted me to be more realistic about being mortal and cut back on unnecessary things like alcohol, smoking basically "wasting" time on things that more than likely is a trade off on your longevity... I have an agenda that I doubt I can complete but getting as far along with it as I can is fulfilling... keeping in mind we are all an accident away from death at any given time, it looms on the "horizon" as we get on in age and watch so many others "cross over"...
Ta. I didn't really know him that well though, they got together last year and I'd only met him about half a dozen times. His hemorrage was excellerated due to being on warfarin to thin his blood.
