I really don't know , glad I'm not the one having to make the decision to pull out or send more troops. I wouldn't want that job for anything in the world
Voted : Yes, what a farce
Of course but he's our puppet and things are so rocky over there right now no one who could do anything about it would do anything about it.
What I don't understand is why Karzai was even allowed to take part in the proposed second election. Sorry Mr Karzai, the last one doesn't count, because you cheated, how about having another go? What a farce!

These regimes that can't/won't carry their own weight should be allowed to fail. Think about it, as long as there's conflict, uncle Sammy will be there passing out your tax money. where's the incentive for those Regimes to step up to the plate ? It's like living in your Kindly mother's basement for free... if you comforable, why change ? When will this Country stop propping up these basket case pseudo Regimes ? ballot #134824
^Afghanistan has already failed. US intervention has nothing to do with that, we didn't give two shits about the deplorable state of affairs within Afghanistan for nearly 30 years until it turned out to be bin laden's base of operations. And the only way to beat bin laden and his cause, is to 1. Find and kill bin laden as well as all top taliban and al qaeda officials and to create a functioning Afghan state which can wage and win a long term war against the remnants of the terrorists, much like what we've done in Iraq.
