[+] ballot by skylab
ACTIVE Wed Nov 04, 09 - Thu Nov 04, 10

Republican Congressman Boehner admitted that the GOP’s proposal for health care reform “will not prevent insurance providers from barring clients based on preexisting conditions.” He said, “We do encourage more states to have high-risk pools,” although most states already have high risk pools that are expensive and don't do much to solve the problem.

So do Republicans have a good plan for health care reform?

no asssumes that they have a plan for health care reform, albeit a bad one.

I haven't heard of anything resembling a plan coming from them.

Actually, the one part of their plan, which they claim to have, is to clean up fraud in the system. They say putting an emphasis on reducing waste and fraud will save billions. They're right on that. President Obama would have been better off making that his first priority, then demonstrating how much was saved and then trying to implement his plan. The way it looks to some now is that the Democrats are just adding more burden to a styem rife with fraud and waste.

they all seem to have good ideas, but when it comes time to write it on paper, they start putting all these junk pork crap all around it so that the final result become meaningless drivel.

there needs to be a revolution. I say universal healthcare, and shoot all the health insurance ceo just to teach them all a lesson. :)

I still think they should have made hilary a health care czar. she could have made something of it.

Ture. Hillary probably would have gotten it all pulled together. She's nice...but scary. As for the Health Insurance CEO's, they're horrible and heartless.

Until they come up with something, Representatives should not have government paid health insurance either

Voted : they have NO plans
And what little plans they do have... well I think we all know about how well those work going by the past 8 years...

Maybe the Health Insurance should be a nonprofit organization like a charity. They still can make a profit but do not have to satisfy shareholders or their pals on the Board of Directos.

Voted : Yes
They have many. Their best, in my opinion, is a tax credit on your 1040 for the health care premiums you pay. But, that is too simple, and doesn't give Government Control.
I get it that you dislike Republicans, Conservatives and Libertarians, but they do have lots of good ideas and plans.
