This question seems to be an extension of a thought crimes mentality,a mob mentality.

No. Things start to get a little scary when the right to vote is dished out according to ideologies. Then there's that stopping point that never gets set due to the movement of the mob. Today, it's the KKK for hating minorities. A few years down the road, it's some church for preaching against homosexuality. Before you know it, if you're anti-establishment and not following along like a good little partisan voter, you've lost your right to vote.

Hate the KKK and their ilk, but I'm glad to see common sense, the Constitution, and Libertarian philosophy prevail. Yes, it's very dangerous deciding that only "right thinking" citizens may vote. That would be just lovely for any would-be dictator.
