Rap is some idiot with an attitude yelling bad poetry over an obnoxious drum track. It glorifies violence, misogyny, racism and ignorance. It's utterly worthless.
Why is it that every black guy I have ever known thinks he is the next 50 cents? rapping requires no musical talent whatsoever, and the image of rap music is all blunts and 40 ounces and guns and girls and stacks of "dead presidents" and 20 inch rims and running from the police. Rap music induldges every immature and ignorant fantasy of its listeners. I think these rappers should be more responsible, and drop the facade of "write a rap song, get paid millions of dollars". Too many impressionable kids listen to this garbage, and its is bad for society. Oh by the way 70% of rap music is purchased by white teens.

The problem is, all rappers sound the same. In rock n roll u very rarely hear similar sounding songs unless u listen 2 2days charts (in which case u must have no life). I agree rap sucks, but if u all hate black people, why is Jimi Hendrix still hailed as one of the best ever musicians?? BECAUSE HE DID ROCK N ROLL!!!
