Like any organized group the Unions support whoever supports their position.
Richard Nixon was elected twice with broad Union support.
However, since 1980 and Reagan the Republicans have taken on a total anti-union send the job overeas and screw the blue collar worker position that, the Unions, like the Minorites are left with only one party support.
They don't CHOOSE to, it's just that's all there is. The other party is comepletely hostile too them. The same with Minorities.
But, Grapost, by their supporting the Democrat Party, it got them FREE Government-Run Health Care! Kinda like Nebraska, who in exchange for their yes vote, got Nebraskans FREE Government-Run Health Care.

The basically live in the country for FREE because they PAY NOT TAXES.
