Yet it seems most people would classify cheerleading as something more or less like "an extra-curricular activity." Though it seems to me that it would take quite a bit of physical exertion to throw one of your peers several feet into the air or form a human pyramid comprising of 6 or more people. - More than I could put in anyway. - And then there are too many "national" cheerleading 'competitions' in the United States to list. What say you? Do you consider cheerleading to be a sport?
