I doubt it will be London. The Olympic selection people are nearly all French and they are very jealous of anything English.
I think they will pick Rio because the timezone is closer the the largest TV audience (USA).

TheTruth, you're an idiot. The USA doesn't have the largest tv audience. China does with 700 million viewers watching the channel CCTV. That's more than the entire population of America, Canada, Mexico and Brazil combined! Not to mention the rest of East Asia.

no fja, you are an idiot. The advertising revenue from American TV companies dwarfs the rest of the world. What use is a TV audience who can't afford the products being advertised. China is where they make the products, not buy them.
My partner says it should be Wolverhampton. I think it should be Goring-by-Sea, since quite frankly it's already a cesspit so a few more drug crazed sporting fanatics won't make any difference.
Since the Games have never been in South America or the Middle East, I hope it's either Rio or Istanbul. But Rio has bad crime and Istanbul is too earthquake-prone, so I doubt either would win.
Not New York, since they had an American Olympics in 96. Havana maybe, if Castro dies first. Moscow maybe, and this time no boycotts.
I'd like to see Rio as a dark horse, since the Games have never been in South America or Africa. But the crime's really bad and it's polluted and overcrowded; could Brazil AFFORD an Olympics anyway?
For Africa... Cairo, Casablanca, Nairobi or Johannesburg in 2016 or 2020 maybe?
