I'm always amazed that that giving birth is described as an such an amazing thing, when the fact is it just duplicates other body actions that we consider not special at all.

Birth results from a muscle, the uterus, contraction and expelling it's contents.

The same thing is true of a bowel movement, vomiting, and sneezing. The colon, stomach and lungs all contract to expel their contents. The result of a muscular contraction.

Sure the creation of a new life is amazing but the birth process is the same as those I mentioned above.

Is the birth process really all that amazing?

I hated being pregnant. Couldn't wait to have my body back to myself. I had a C-Section, so I don't know anything about having a normal birth.
I bet none of you men could handle that kind of pain.
