COMMENTS:
Nobody really cares about his speech. He was talking to a crowd of young campaign workers. Who gives a shit?
There has been less talk about GWB incoherent ramblings in his speech at the United Nations, in the capacity of President of the U.S. The media are trying to get rid of Dean because they don't like him. The corporate crowd wants Bush re-elected because they know he will do whatever they want. In fact, he is about to approve the FCC's new media ownership rules that the big media giants wanted. They will do anything to get their lapdog re-elected.
All I am saying is, it is just as important to pay attention to what the media doesn't talk about, especially if it is of vital importance to our society, as the FCC issue most certainly is. When it comes to dwelling on trivial matters, Americans are second-to-none.
I respectfully disagree. Bush is saving lives. Howard Dean was live on the air and no one spun his weirdness. I'll admit the Clinton machine was behind the sniping at his campaign. (Newsweek, Time etc.) but Dean has been caught too many times saying and doing the worst things possible. NOT Presidential.
I think people are kind of jumping to conclusions here. He was just rallying the people that have helped him. And I never heard anything about it being "the worst mishandling of a campaign by any candidate in US history".
Cost of electioneering: $40 million Number of states won: zero Number of disappointed internet granola lefty Dean campaign donors: millions Watching Howard Dean have a complete hyena-laugh hysterical breakdown on camera: priceless
