It might just be your perspective -- you may want to seek counseling if you keep feeling this way. I used to feel this way myself until I sought counseling -- it ended up that I have depression. Appropriate counseling and a daily antidepressant pill have helped me to feel better and more rational.
You're outgrowing them. In a few years, you'll be off doing interesting things with interesting people, and your "friends" will still be doing the same old things with the same old people. Find new friends now - you will eventually, anyway.
I was in the exact same scenario when I was in school (I'm 20, so it wasn't that long ago.) Looking back I know what I could've done to 1)make them stop and feel stupid themselves and 2)make myself look better than them. Here's what I SHOULD'VE done, and would, if I got the chance again:
First off, if you're a girl, start dressing well and wearing attractive makeup, and get an older, sexy boyfriend.
Develop a cocky attitude, and mock them with a snotty, pitying, laughing attitude. Tell them they're retarded, ugly, nerdy posers whenever they say or do anything dumb. You gotta keep an eye out for their mistakes so you can mock them any chance you get.
Roll your eyes and "psshht" at them a LOT. Laugh at them a lot. This will establish your superiority very quickly, I swear. They may get really mad and self-conscious, and they might stop being your friends, but I guarantee you'll end up with even cooler friends and with higher status in school. Probably they won't stop being your friends, they'll just start respecting you.
In order to get respect, you have to act like people have no choice but to respect you. You have to BELIEVE that you are the baddest bitch around. It works, I swear, it started working for me as soon as I tried it in tenth grade, and it still does.
Of course you can always take the meek route and tell yourself they don't know jack, and that things will get better some day and it doesn't matter what they think. But that will not yield the results you're looking for.

If they treat you this way, they are a real friend. Start hanging out with people who treat you well and respect you. Don't let people mistreat you and walk all over you this way.

Do you have fun with them? Do they make you feel good about yourself and support you? Do you trust them with your secrets?... If not, they are nothing more than casual acquaintances. No reason to burn bridges, just spend time doing the things that interest you and make you happy. The contentedness you get from those activities will attract the kind of people you really want in your life. P.S. Don't waste time trying to understand them... they will never let you.

it's easy to get a certificate later and then go to get some real education in college or training school.
