WHO WAS THE LONGEST HOMERUN HITTER OF ALL TIME?

COMMENTS:
Jimmie Foxx smashed a ball into the last row of Yankee Stadium's left-field upper-deck. No one has ever done that.....and he broke a seat doing it!
Mickey Mantle hit a 565-foot home run at Griffith Stadium in Washington DC, and he also hit one off the facade in Yankee Stadium, back when the facade was on the roof above the upper deck. According to reports, if it had traveled an inch to the left, it'd cleared Yankee Stadium.
I think it was Yogi Berra. (You did ask "longest homerun hitter".)
Actually, I think I read somewhere that Josh Gibson, playing an exhibition game in Yankee Stadium, managed to hit one some 600 feet, clearing the entire park.
Mantle had the furthest hit of all time
