Italians are different hues, from lighter in the north of the country to some almost Middle Eastern looking ones in Sicily (thanks to a lot of Moorish invasions over the centuries), but they're all European or mostly European in the south. So, if European's taken to mean "white," then, yeah, they're all white, more or less.
This kind of reminds me of the confrontation between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken in TRUE ROMANCE...

Italians is white, European, and forget all darker in the south, because of invasion bullshit, thats mostly due to the weather and climate, most of sicily was wiped out, in huge earthquakes, it was recolinised by people from Rome and above
